[Weiss Schwarz] Shakugan No Shana F Series Review

Hi people, with the latest release into Weiss Schwarz by Bushiroad. I am going to do a short review on the series Shakugan No Shana F. Shakugan No Shana, being one of the anime that has the lead character voiced by Kugyu (Kugimiya Rie for those who don't know), is one of my favourite series.
Some disclaimer: this review is purely based on individual's ideas, any similarities are purely coincidental.
Without much delay, lets start the review proper.

First, lets start off with the Yellow side of the cards.

Melon Pan

[Auto] When this card declares attack, choose one of your [Flame] trait character, that character power +2000 until the end of the turn.
[Auto][Encore][Put 1 character from your Hand to the Waiting Room](When this card is put into the Waiting Room from the Stage, you may pay the cost. If so, put this character back on Stage in its original Slot in Rest position.)

This card is pretty ok, giving Shana Deck that additional power increment every turn since she has the Encore ability. Though her power of 7000 is really small since most Level 1 can easily reach 10000 with some boost of sorts.

Now on to the main stuff of this set. The Red cards.

The Passion

First, lets talk about the combination card

These 2 cards are actually very effective in filling up the loop holes in a Shana deck.
With the Level 0 Shana's Bond ability, you can easily retrieve Level 2 Wilhelmina from the Waiting Room. To make it even further, Shana has the ability to give an additional 500 power to any of your [Flame] trait character when she attacks. Coupled with Wilhelmina ability to be 9000 Power when there is a character with Shana in the name on the Stage, she is 9500 on the offense based on this 2 cards alone. And with the new supports in this EP, Wilhelmina power is really really stable there filling in the gaps for the duration of Level 2 for a Shana Deck.

[Continuous][Experience] As long the combined Levels of the cards in your Level zone is 2 or more, all your [Flame] trait character get power +500
[Auto][Encore][Put 1 character from your Hand to the Waiting Room](When this card is placed into the Waiting Room from Stage, you may pay the cost. If so, put this card back onto the Stage in its original Slot in Rest position)

Another support, but this support actually had decent power to face against your opponent characters. Coupled with the Encore ability, you can ensure that she will be staying on the Stage for quite some time unless the player decides to remove her or your opponent has anti-Encore mechanism in his/her Deck.

[Continuous] Character in front of this card get Soul -1
[Continuous][Experience] As long as the total Level of cards in your Level zone is 5 or more, this card power +1000
[Auto][1] When this card declare attacks and you have the Climax " Colliding Feelings" in your Clima zone, you may pay the cost. If so, deal 1 damage to your opponent and this character get power +3000 until end of turn.

First, this card combos really well with the old booster 3/2 Shana Yuji card. With the ability to cause the character that card reversed to be sent to the top of your opponent's Deck, that 1 Damage in particular is confirmed. This card can reach 11000 easily with Experience which most Shana Decks are already running. The good news is that the Climax is a 1 Stock 1 Soul Climax meaning to say that the combo can definitely be pull off as long you have the character and the Climax since the cost is paid for already.

Some small mentions,

This particular card I feel is one of the more interested addition onto Shana's cardpool. 1/0 6000 that you have to Rest one of your [Flame] trait character if she enters from Hand. This powerhouse actually allow Shana Players to have greater control during Level 1, with the huge base power and coupled with the new Support she can easily be 7500 or 8000 with proper supports. This will actually help to diminish your opponent's resources in an attempt to remove your 1/0 character making your Level 2 more stable and smooth-sailing.
Not to mention that this card can be changed out during Level 0, proving it to be a cheap beatstick during your course of Level 0 and 1.

Now, last but not least. The Blue side of the set
The prayer

[Continuous][Experience] As long as the total Level in your Level slot is 5 or more, this card gain the following effect [Auto]This effect can only be activated once per turn. When you activate an [Act] effect, choose one of your character, that character get power +1500 for that turn.
[Act][(2) Put this card to Rest] Draw 1 card.

A seemingly normal or subpar card to most. But this card actually packs a huge potential which I am going to explain in a moment's time. This card combo with the following Yellow RR from Shana Booster

This will actually give you an option of 500 and 1500 power boost to 2 character or a 2000 power boost to a single character. On the offense, you already had this versatile way of gaining more power to suit your current situation. On the defense, by combining with this card

You will have the option of spliting the 3500/1500 power increment to your characters or if you really do need the insane boost. You can actually boost a character power by 5000 just from this Counter alone.
Her second ability might seems weak but its actually good for clearing Climax in Stock or if you need that additional Handsize and you have too much Stock to spare.

[Auto] When this card enters the Stage from Hand or by [Change] you may put the top card of your Clock to the Waiting Room.
[Auto][1] When the Climax " Until the Realization of the Next Wish" in placed onto the Climax zone, you may pay the cost. If so, draw 1 card and put the top card of your Clock to the Waiting Room. At the start of your Encore Step, put this card to Stock.

One of the Best Healing cards I ever seen, with the ability to Heal from entering via Hand and Change, the amount of loop you can do is pretty good. Not to mention her Climax combo sends itself to Stock, giving you the additional Stock for entering other characters to heal or just fill up the holes of your combo aftermath.

Well. thats pretty much all I will be highlighting for Shakugan No Shana F Extra Pack set. There might be combos that I failed to mention in my review but thats the joy in experimenting with new cards. Small set but good cards. Hope Shana players out there had fun playing with the new addition to the cardpool. With that, I end my Review here.

Special thanks to Milxie for Editing =D
